Mi Primer Bitcoin to Host Third Bitcoin Education Unconference in Nashville
Mi Primer Bitcoin, a nonprofit from El Salvador, announced that its third Bitcoin Education Unconference will be held at The Cordelle in Nashville on July 24. Following successful events in San Salvador and Madeira, this BTC-only event aims to foster collaboration and networking among Bitcoin enthusiasts. Attendees will contribute to the session’s agenda by pitching ideas, creating a decentralized and collaborative atmosphere.
Prominent industry figures, such as Jeff Booth, Preston Pysh, and Ben Perrin, have previously participated in the Unconference. Mi Primer Bitcoin focuses on promoting Bitcoin education and financial empowerment, having collaborated with El Salvador’s Ministry of Education. Their pilot program aims to train 700 public school teachers to deliver a BTC diploma curriculum. Since its inception in early 2022, the program has been globally successful, with educational materials translated into 23 languages and used worldwide.
John Dennehy, founder of Mi Primer Bitcoin, reiterated the organization’s mission to make El Salvador a global example in BTC adoption and education. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $65,189.
