CoinDesk Acquired by Bullish Group

CoinDesk, an acclaimed media outlet in the cryptocurrency industry with a strong adherence to editorial policies, was acquired by the Bullish group in November 2023. Bullish, a regulated digital assets exchange, is majority-owned by Block.one, both of which have significant interests and holdings in blockchain and digital assets, including bitcoin. CoinDesk remains an independent subsidiary with an editorial committee to ensure journalistic independence, and its employees, including journalists, might receive options in the Bullish group as part of their compensation. CoinDesk’s privacy policy, terms of use, and cookie policy have also been recently updated.
