Saylor Predicts Bitcoin to Hit $10M

Could BTC Reach $10M? Insights from Michael Saylor

In recent news, Michael Saylor, founder and CEO of MicroStrategy, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin (BTC) could reach $10 million per coin in the long run, referring to this as ‘economic immortality.’ Despite a recent drop in BTC’s price to $62,000, Saylor maintains his optimistic outlook, arguing that traditional currencies are “imperfect money” that fails during crises, making people more open to Bitcoin.
Saylor’s forecast is supported by the Power Law model, which projects that BTC could reach $1 million between 2028 and 2037, and eventually hit $10 million by 2040. However, the model has its limitations and doesn’t account for potential regulatory changes or technological advancements.
Saylor has previously stated that Bitcoin’s market cap could constitute 10%-20% of total global wealth, which is estimated to be between $900 trillion and $1,000 trillion. If BTC were to capture 20% of global assets, it could indeed reach $10 million per coin. Currently, Bitcoin’s market cap is around $1.2 trillion, representing less than 1% of total world wealth.
