SSGA and Galaxy Collaborate on Digital Asset Strategies

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) and Galaxy Asset Management have announced a collaboration to develop digital asset investment strategies that extend beyond cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. This partnership aims to leverage the expertise of both organizations to offer investors access to the $2.4 trillion digital asset ecosystem through new manager-directed strategies. The goal is to harness the broader digital asset landscape, which includes crypto-native companies, and educate investors on its potential role in diversified portfolios. This initiative is a response to growing institutional and retail interest in digital assets, driven by the introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs. State Street Bank and Trust will handle administrative and accounting services for these new digital asset ETFs.
