Binance Initiates ZKsync Registration and ZK Token Allocation

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the registration of ZKsync and the launch of a ZK token allocation scheme. Spot trading for ZKsync pairs, including ZK/BTC, ZK/USDT, ZK/FDUSD, and ZK/TRY, will commence on June 17, 2024. Users can deposit ZK for trading without any registration fee.
ZKsync is an Ethereum layer 2 solution utilizing EVM-compatible ZK-SNARK rollup technology aimed at improving Ethereum transaction efficiency and upgradability. Binance’s token allocation scheme will distribute 10.5 million ZK tokens to 52,500 users who meet specific criteria, such as completing at least 50 transactions on the ZKsync Era network over seven months. Eligible users will receive 200 ZK tokens each, with the initial airdrop scheduled for June 25, 2024.
Binance has advised caution when dealing with ZK tokens, and residents of Canada, Cuba, Iran, and the US are restricted from trading the new pairs.
